Went for Miami spice and wasn’t disappointed. The food was excellent and I left more than full. We got the NY strip and the Branzino. Both were amazing. Waiters were very attentive and the atmosphere was elegant and cozy, even when it started to get busy. Not overly pretentious either. 10/10 would go again for a date or special occasion
Beautiful restaurant, phenomenal service, exceptional delicious food! We had the lump crab cakes for our appetizers esthetically I don’t like how they look. I like the crab cakes that are not encased in the breading but once you cut into these, they are very delicious and fresh. They usually come sitting in the Tatar sauce but we requested on the side. All in all a great appetizer to start with. We also ordered the Caesar salad which one is enough for two people. Perfectly dressed and with fresh anchovies on top and throughout. For our entree we ordered the Delmonico ribeye, it was very tasty, melted in our mouths and more than enough to share. We had a bottle of Booker & Harriet Cab and it went very well with our ribeye! Very smooth! We were so full, that unfortunately, we did not have desert. Our server Mike was attentive and gave great service. Thank you Mike! My only critique would be is that once the main dinning room is filled, it is very loud in there.
We were able to get reservations on the same day and boy am I happy we did. The food was amazing, rack of lamb was cooked perfectly, beignets for dessert we’re scrumptious. The staff was great and attentive. They were accommodating and baby friendly.
I had been looking forward to dining at Bourbon Steak for quite some time, but unfortunately, I found that all the hype surrounding it was much ado about nothing. The prices on the menu were incredibly steep, and while I expected to be paying for exceptional quality food, a pleasant ambience, and top-notch service, I was sorely disappointed.
Speaking of the ambience, the restaurant is situated in a ballroom-type lobby at the Marriott hotel, complete with a large silk floral displays . While this may sound impressive, it didn't contribute to the overall dining experience. Furthermore, the presentation of the dishes left much to be desired, as they simply plopped down pieces of steak onto the plate without any attention to culinary plating style or skills
All in all, I cannot recommend Bourbon Steak nor do I plan to return. There are certainly better options out there that offer higher quality food for the same amount of money or less.
Beautiful decor and excellent food. They start you off with a complimentary appetizer of three French fries (Rosemary, Garlic, and Paprika) accompanied by three housemade dipping sauces. For an additional appetizer, I recommend the Maine Lobster Tacos. For the main course, I had the Mise-Glazed Sea Bass and cannot recommend that enough. The fish was as smooth as it can be, with a delicious crust of miso, and the dashi combined with bok choy and maitake mushrooms complemented the sea bass incredibly. The desert menu will appease the sweet tooth out there - and for that, I recommend the 24k sunday with cherry.
Very elegant restaurant with a very cozy environment. Great food. Ambiance music at a perfect level.
Sat at the bar and had a great time with my wife. Felt like individualized attention.
Asked our bartender, Erin, a special drink for my birthday and she prepared a Manhattan off menu. She’s the best.
The only thing confusing is the parking if you are not staying at the hotel. Someone has to open the gate.
Everything was perfect! I eat a lot of steak as of recent and this restaurant served me and my husband the best NY Strip we have ever had. It was prepared beautifully and so juicy. We were a group of eleven (including kiddos) and everyone loved their meals. Service was great and the ambiance is wonderful. A must come even if your not staying at the JW.
We were shocked! I was hard pressed to give this restaurant any stars as compared to other steakhouses in the area. I gave it 2 stars because the steak was good (not incredible) and the service was impeccable, as well as the drinks.
Bottom line is....the atmosphere is great with an amazing bar scene and fantastic whiskey selection. It's a fabulous place for people watching, but if you are interested in a good meal, go elsewhere because you can get steaks, drinks and service that is just as good and have better appetizers, salads, sides, and desserts.
Let's start at the beginning. I ordered oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were so small that it was hard to find an oyster in the creamed spinach topping. Beyond that, there is usually parmesan or other cheese topping broiled on the oysters. That is not really what they deliver at this restaurant. There was the smallest amount of cheese I have ever seen on this dish and mushy.
We'll move on....I shared a lettuce wedge salad with my husband. I have never had a lettuce wedge with NO TASTE. You could not taste blue cheese or bacon. I even picked out what was supposed to be blue cheese and found that it was tasteless. Their dressing added nothing!
Dinner: The steak was good, but nothing that we could not have gotten for less cost at another high-end restaurant. The creamed spinach was OK, but we have had better.
Dessert: There was a dessert that they called chocolate lava or something like that. DON'T BOTHER. Chocolate mouse with a little ice cream and chocolate crunch...very disappointing!
I think you get the point.
